Fresh, delicious and easy going. Baboo Ji in Portswood is a local favourite when it comes to vegetarian and vegan based dishes. From biryani to fresh curries and dosas, they have lots to try, combining traditional flavours into a modern menu. Their head chef Kamal has a true passion for creating dishes that everyone can enjoy.

Soup season is here and so is wagamama’s new collab with king of soups, @alfie cooks. Introducing the firecracker chick’n ramen created by alfie to embody all the warming, comforting flavours we crave on colder days. Rice noodles in a steaming gochujang, miso and coconut broth, packed with fresh ginger, chilli and garlic. Then topped with crispy chilli chick’n, slow roasted aubergine and sesame tenderstem broccoli. Finished off with crispy chilli oil,spring onions, coriander and lime. Their vegan breakfast offers a unique twist on the beloved fry-up, with scrambled tofu and spinach, a tomato and chickpea stew, along with some beetroot hash, vegan sausages, roasted mushrooms and avocado.
