We’ve shared our blogs on the Bedford Place, Old Town, the Cultural Quarter and Westquay areas of our city, for this blog, we are looking at some of the fantastic late-night businesses you can find around the rest of the centre of Southampton. Take some inspiration from the details below and plan your next big night out.
Head to the Marlands Shopping Centre at night for a variety of choices. Start your night out with Neds Noodle Bar – where gluten-free, vegan and halal options are also available. Or grab a burger or wrap from takeaway, Fran and Go. Sample some traditional Polish dumplings at Pierogarnia.
On East Street, a short stroll from Above Bar Street, you can find Padharo, a new restaurant specialising in Indian cuisine.
Continuing with the Mediterranean vibes is La Tavernetta, found on Civic Centre Road.
For food from further afield, Kokoro, offers Japanese fare to take away or to dine in. There’s also Mint Dosa for some Indian food.
Fancy something quick and easy? German Doner Kebab, on Above Bar Street offers gourmet doner kebabs.
And if you are after something sweet to finish your night off, be sure to head to the Sprinkles dessert bars on Above Bar and Below Bar.
If drinks are more what you are after, but perhaps you fancy a quick bite to eat too then there’s Yates pub, One-0-Four and the Slug and Lettuce on Above Bar Street.
Grab a bunch of friends or some colleagues for some evening fun. On East Street, try to compete against each other at Axeology for some axe throwing or High Score Arcade – where after paying a flat entrance fee (booking required), there’s plenty of fun to be had by playing the various free-play arcade games.
There is also Rocket Ronnie's Pool Hall on High Street, open 7 days a week. Book a pool/snooker table or just turn up with friends or family for a few games and a drink.
