If you are looking to connect with loved ones or browse the internet on your phone, there are plenty of places in the city centre that offer free WiFi. The Nest Coffee House, Costa, Cafe Thrive and Starbucks are just a few of the cafés that have WiFi – the perfect way to sit back and relax for a few hours over coffee.
Plus, many of the city's local pubs and restaurants offer complimentary WiFi for their diners such as Co Sushi on Above Bar Street. They not only offer a great selection of sushi and bento boxes in addition to their free WiFi, but also accept group bookings at an affordable price.
Lots of businesses in the city centre have special offers and discounts for crew members. Snap up 20% off Duke of Wellington's lunch time menu, get 10% off your order at Diego's Rotisserie, receive a free sit-down consultation at LUSH, or get 10% off on fabrics and haberdashery at Fabric Land - there is something for everyone. All you will need to do is show a valid staff ID!
The main shopping centres and high street are just a short stroll away from the ports. If you are looking for toys we recommend Rockbottom Toy Store and Build-A-Bear Workshop or if its tech and gadgets you’re after, why not go to MenKind.
In Southampton, you’ll be spoilt for choice with things to do. Knock over some pins at Hollywood Bowl, practice your aim at Black Axe Throwing, or head out with a couple of crew mates and challenge yourselves to one of city’s many escape rooms such as Elusion Escapes or Locked in a Room.
There is also a great selection of pub sports around the city, so if you’re looking to chill over a couple of drinks, The Mayflower Village, The Grapes, and Sharkey’s are worth checking out. Plus, don’t miss Rocket Ronnies over on High St for a quick game of pool. They have the only Chinese pool table on the South Coast!
For more experiences around the city, take a look at our crew map at the top of this page.
After a long day's work, you’ll want to head off the ship to unwind. Get some much-needed R&R at one of Southampton’s hair salons or beauty boutiques. Treat yourself to a full body massage at Rachel Katie Cosmetics or get your hair done at Rush Hair and Beauty or Fabulous Hair.
Not only does Southampton have plenty of beauty bars and salons to choose from, but there are also several local spots to get your fitness on. Jog over to PureGym or The Gym Group to stretch your muscles and get in some cardio. Both gyms offer free wifi, are open 24 hours, and require no contract.
