Are you an event organiser in Southampton?

Visit Southampton is the go-to website for locals and visitors to find out about events, activities and more. We already have a great collection of events happening in the city but would love to have yours as well. 

Here you can find a full guide to submitting your event to the Visit Southampton website. It is fairly simple and you have full control of your listing but before you start please check the following:

  • Is your event in Southampton?
  • Have you got a good image to go with your submission?

That's all you need!

All you have to do is create a new account which is quick and easy and you are good to go to submit and amend your events on-line.

Do you organise multiple events in Southampton?

Are you trying to update a listing?

Any changes to your event? Have you got a new act? A new date? Change of times? You can submit changes to any of your event listings on the website by visiting The List website, log into your account, find your event and click "Update this event" button. If you have any issues please contact The List on 0131 550 3050 or email events@list.co.uk.

Submitting a last-minute event? 

We encourage all event providers and organisers to submit their events at least 14 days prior to the event for better exposure. However, we understand this isn't always possible in the busy events industry. If you'd like to submit a late event please contact The List directly on 0131 550 3050 or email events@list.co.uk.

What is a Community Event?

Southampton has plenty of community events. We tag all small events that attract less than 100 people and focus on building communities as 'Community' these are filtered to under the respective tag. If you think your event shouldn't be under community but has been filtered please contact The List directly on 0131 550 3050 or email events@list.co.uk.

My image isn't showing up on the listing?

We love great events photos and artwork and wouldn't want to hide this from your event. However, we always make sure events look the best they can on our site. Please make sure all imagery submitted is at least (w) 555px x (h) 366px at (72dpi) and doesn't have too much text. If you would like to re-submit an image please visit The List website, find your event and click "Update this event" button.
