Visit Southampton is the go-to website for locals and visitors to find out about events, activities and more. We already have a great collection of events happening in the city but would love to have yours as well.

It is fairly simple and you have full control of your listing but before you start please check the following:

Step one: All you have to do is create a new account which is quick and easy.
Step two: Once you have your account, you are good to go to submit your events online at any time. That's it. Easy!
Please note, Data Thistle does receive some automatic feeds from venue box offices and online ticket websites like TicketSource, See Tickets and Ticketmaster. So it is always best to check first, as your event may already be published on the listings, without you having to do any more work.
You can also amend or add text and additional images to your events too.
If you have any changes to your event, got a new act, a new date or change of times or even spot a typo, you can submit changes to any of your event listings on the website by visiting the Data Thistle website, log into your account, find your event and click the yellow "Update this event" button on the top right hand side of your listing.

Data Thistle integrates with the following listings suppliers to import events automatically. If your venue works with one of these systems, please contact events@datathistle.com to find out more.
We encourage all event providers and organisers to submit their events at least 7 days prior to the event for better exposure. However, we understand this isn't always possible in the busy events industry. If you'd like to submit a late event please contact Data Thistle directly by emailing events@datathistle.com.
Southampton has plenty of community events. We tag all small events that attract less than 100 people and focus on building communities as 'Community' these are filtered to under the respective tag. If you think your event shouldn't be under community but has been filtered please contact Data Thistle directly by emailing events@datathistle.com.
We love great events photos and artwork and wouldn't want to hide this from your event. However, we always make sure events look the best they can on our site. Please make sure all imagery submitted is at least (w) 555px x (h) 366px at (72dpi) and doesn't have too much text. If you would like to re-submit an image please visit Data Thistle website, find your event and click "Update this event" button. If you have any issues please contact Data Thistle by emailing events@datathistle.com.
Please let Data Thistle know by using the ‘Update this event’ link which you will find at the top of your listing.
