Main categories for events are as follows: Books; Charity; Clubs; Comedy; Community; Conferences; Dance; Days out; Festival; Film; Kids; LGBT; Music; Sport; Talks & Lectures; Theatre; Visual Art.
A community event is classified as events or activities targeted specifically at local residents to promote community involvement and participation.
A service or support group is classified as a support resource.
A course or class is classified as something that takes place over a period of time, an opportunity of learning and or for the participant’s personal gain.

By submitting an event/activity, you give the right for future use by Visit Southampton, i.e through event feeds, social media etc.
