New Forest Wildlife Centre

A must-visit Hampshire attraction for families, couples and anyone with a passion for wildlife conservation and natural surroundings.

Nestled in the beautiful ancient New Forest National Park you can find the New Forest Wildlife Park, with something to delight all ages. With conservation and education at its heart, our family-run, much loved wildlife park is home to over 260 animals representing 40 species both native and from other parts of the world.

Stroll round the peaceful woodlands to discover four species of otters including the endangered Giant Otters from the Amazon, owls, wolves, lynx, bison, Scottish wildcats, mouflon, pine marten and more. Get closer to nature as you walk through the friendly deer and wallaby enclosures. Learn interesting facts and see the animals being fed as you join our friendly animal keepers as they feed and chat about the animals in their care.

Go Wild in the two adventure playgrounds, one for under 6’s with a sandpit, rope swing and climbing frames, and one for over 6’s with rope merry go round, rope swing, challenging high ropes, spiders web bridge and more. A great environment to learn, play and exercise.

If you are looking for a more personal wildlife encounter, our pre-booked Keeper Experiences are ideal. You’ll work on a one-to-one basis with one of our knowledgeable keepers, giving you plenty of time to ask questions as we tailor your visit to your individual interests. By adopting an animal, you can be a vital part of their conservation journey and contribute to their wellbeing.

The New Forest Tour Bus red route goes right to the door in the summer months and there are special events in the school holidays. Check out www.newforestwildlifepark.co.uk or the park’s social media pages for more information.
