Hampshire Cricket Programme at Barton Peveril College | Taster Event

Year 11 prospective students are invited to attend a taster event for the successful Cricket Programme we run in partnership with Hampshire County Cricket Club.During the programme, college students will have the opportunity to receive up to 6 hours of coaching per week at the Utilita Bowl and play in a very busy competitive fixtures programme during the summer term. These fixtures include the Altham Trophy (T20), the National Colleges T20, the National Independent Schools T20, the Girls Cricket Paper 100 ball competition and a series of prestigious matches against private school including Winchester College, Millfield and Lancing College. The programme is led by experienced coaches, including ex-professional cricketer Brad Taylor.Taster Event: This event will take place on Monday 8th July from 9-11 am at the Utilita Bowl. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, be provided with a tour of the facilities, and take part in a practical coaching session (please bring your own kit for the practical session).Students attending the event will need to meet in the foyer of the Arlott Atrium at 08:45 am.
