Amazing otters and where to find them

We are celebrating world otter day during May half term at the New Forest Wildlife Park!Did you know there are 13 species of otter? At our special half term Otter Trail you can find out interesting facts about all 13, plus you can see 4 of the species right here in the wildlife park! Complete the trail for a special prize.Find the golden paw print within the park and you could be in with a chance of winning an otter adoption and family tickets.This half term at New Forest Wildlife Park you can also test out your creative side at the Craft Weekends. On select dates, the park will host workshops for making otter badges and pebble painting. Otters just love playing with pebbles!Your little animal can take a walk on the wild side as they transform into their favourite animal from around the park with wildlife Face Painting! Taking place at selected dates and times during the week.And as we are supporting World Otter day there will be a collection for the otter charities Himalayan Otter Network and Giant Otter Project within the park.Also don’t forget those friendly Keeper Talks where you can find out even more facts about amazing otters!MAY HALF TERM ACTIVITIES Otter Trail Learn about the 13 species of otter. Small prize for completed trails. When: 25th May - 2nd June, all day Cost: £1.50Paw Print Hunt Find the golden paw print in the park for the chance to win an otter adoption or family tickets. When: 25th May - 2nd June, all day Cost: Free - Winners randomly drawn at the end of the holidaysCraft Weekends Join us for fun crafts including making otter badges & pebble painting. When: 25th - 27th May and 1st - 2nd June, 11am - 3pm Cost: £2.50Facepainting Beanies face paints will transform visitors into their favourite animal from the park. Will you be an otter, owl, wolf, lynx, wallaby, ferret, mouse, bison, deer or wildcat? When: 26th, 28th & 30th May and 2nd June, from 10am (finish time will vary on day) Cost: £4.00Don't forget to check out our daily Keeper Talks for feeding time talks.
