Speakers include: Professor Gillian Dow, and Professor John McAleer from The University of Southampton, Jo Willett award winning television producer and the biographer of Sarah Siddons, Nicky Pink author of ‘Dibdin and Jane Austen: Musical Cultures of Gentry Women’, Angela Barlow author of Jane Austen & the Arts, and Dr Holly Day of the University Of York.Talks include: Locating Pemberley: The Importance of Place in Jane Austen’s Fiction Muddy Petticoats and Parasols: Uncovering Jane Austen's experience of walking Dramatizing Jane: Sarah Siddons, Austens Favourite Actress Jane Austen & Character: An Actor’s View.
