Join us for a summer of discovery at our 2025 Junior School. We’ll spend each Friday meeting new people, learning new art techniques and creating a fantastic selection of artwork to bring home.Please see our full programme below. If you would like to book for another date, please visit our main events page.25 JULY: DISCOVER CLAY SCULPTUREExperiment and explore this very satisfying medium taking inspiration from the artworks on display.1 AUGUST: DISCOVER PRINTMAKINGSpend a day learning new techniques including collagraph printing and monoprinting. You’ll learn how each technique works and find your unique style along the way.8 AUGUST: DISCOVER SURREALISMLet’s take inspiration from the Surrealists and generate artwork in new and exciting ways! We’ll experiment with collage, try out automatic drawing see where our imaginations take us.15 AUGUST: DISCOVER IMPRESSIONISMWho were these Impressionists? How did they get their name and what was so good about them anyway?! Work with paints and pastels to capture skies and scenes with a vibrant colour palette.22 AUGUST: DISCOVER POP ARTPop Art can be about vibrant colours, everyday subjects and even humour. We’ll be exploring these themes though collage, drawing and printing techniques.29 AUGUST: DISCOVER ABSTRACT ARTExplore artists such as Kandinski, Mondrain and O’Keefe. Play with colour, shape and pattern using a range of materials and media to develop your own style of abstract art.Please bring a packed lunch and a snack and dress for mess.CANCELLATIONSIn the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund.
