Come and watch the University of Southampton Theatre Group's performance of All My Sons by Arthur Miller.Synopsis: Set in August 1946, very much in the wake of WWII, All My Sons focuses on the Keller family. Chris Keller, son of Joe and Katie, has invited his sweetheart, and childhood neighbour, Annie Deever, to stay.Kate suspects Chris and Annie are, or will be, engaged, despite the fact that Annie was supposed to marry Chris' older brother Larry, who went missing in war three years ago. Larry is presumed dead by all but his mother, who clings to the idea that he will come home and marry Annie. Joe's business partner, Annie's father, has been imprisoned for selling cracked cylinder heads to the Air Force 1943, causing the death of 21 pilots. Joe Keller has escaped imprisonment, yet Steve Deever has always claimed it to be his fault. Annie gets a call from her brother George informing her that he has been to see their father who they had previously ostracised, and that he is flying to the Kellers immediately...** DISCLAIMER ** This show contains references to violence, suicide and death.
