Thinking Thursdays: Guided Tour of Southampton Collections Centre

Full venue address will be included in your confirmation email.Thinking Thursdays is a weekday initiative from Southampton City Council Cultural Services, exploring the rich history and heritage of the town. Each session is different, but it could be a talk, tour or something entirely different!Take a tour around the history of Southampton with a member of our collections team at the Culture and Tourism Services’ Collections Management Centre, where many of the objects in our collection are housed. Discover more about how our collections are looked after and the process that goes into their acquisition and conservation, and catch a glimpse of many of the items behind the scenes. Regrettably this walk is not suitable for people with mobility concerns.Our prices are based on helping as many people to access our sessions as possible. The more you choose to pay, the more people will be able to come and enjoy the same excellent programme of informative and entertaining activities.
