About the hosts

Zoe Hanson

Zoe was a presenter on commercial radio for 20 years after leaving Heart radio when the breakfast show was made national, and she couldn’t stop thinking that people love to hear about local things and community. Having worked in the area for over a decade, and loving her community in Southampton, Zoe decided to start a podcast covering all the local positives with a Southampton flavour.

Tom Stroud

Tom has worked in radio in the South since he left school. He’s worked for commercial radio stations as a presenter, programme controller and network show host. He’s now often heard on BBC Radio Solent. He’s also a journalist and writer.When he’s not behind a microphone he’s probably at a gig, in a coffee shop, checking out a microbrewery or taking photos of the sea.
