Yoga for all, regardless of age, gender and ability. Our current classes are unisex and participants vary from Teens to 80 year olds.

Yoga is not for profit, Our goal is to promote a Healthy Lifestyle using Yoga as an integral part. We try and make Yoga accessible to everyone in the community.

Yogic techniques improve health and well being, as seen and proved on the tv programme 'Trust me I'm a doctor', series 9, episode 5 (available on iplayer). Yoga can also aid weight loss/control and improve Health in mind, body and spirit.

Techniques taught and practised include:

Pranayama- breathing (Prana = Life force, Yama = Control), for improved function of respiratory, circulatory, digestive and excretory systems.

Asanas - poses, postures and stretches, for specific issues (e.g. Back aches)

Relaxation, Meditation, Healthy eating and Hand Mudras (sensor points in hands/feet and activation of)

Fitness and flexibility are by-products of Yoga and not the goals.

This is regular weekly class, yoga mats are provided, just turn up and take part. If you feel the session is worthwhile, we would like just 2 per session (not for profit, just to cover costs), ensure you wear clothing you can easily and comfortably move in.
