In August, the Book Club will be discussing 'The Book Shop' by Penelope Fitzgerald.
Food and drink is available to purchase, so you can enjoy the discussion with cake and tea! Do come along even if you haven't finished the book - the conversation is often much wider than the book's subject. You will usually find us upstairs but if you are not sure then just ask the staff to direct you.
The Book Club has a general ‘female’ theme such as female authors and leading characters, and we are always open to suggestions! The Southampton Book Club for Women is organised by Sotonettes WI, Southampton's modern Women's Institute.
