**Come and join us (with your little ones!) in Watts (West) Park on Tuesday 27 August, 12-2pm, where a specially organised FREE Teddy Bears Picnic will give you the chance to meet other parents, have open and honest discussions about parenthood, and access free information and advice from friendly employment and health care professionals.**
We are holding a Teddy Bears Picnic in Watts (West) Park on Tuesday 27th August 2019 12pm-2pm to launch a new project called PATH where Southampton City Council are partners.
PATH (PerinAtal menTal Health) is a European project which addresses the effects and raises awareness of Perinatal Mental Health on parents, families and wider society. Southampton City Council’s Employment Support Team’s role in this project is to provide employment support, advice and guidance to empower families affected by Perinatal Mental Health. This can include support with retaining employment and providing families with the information and resources that are accessible in the community, taking a holistic approach to wellbeing and supporting families to access activities, linking with community group providers and support. Find out more about PATH here: http://www.southampton.gov.uk/schools-learning/further-learning/employment-support-team/path-perinatal-mental-health.aspx
All families and children are welcome to attend to find out more about this exciting new project and the support it will offer. Free food and refreshments will be available and there will be fun activities for all the family from a range of local organisations and charities.
