This is a hands-on session using the grounds of the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens as the starting point to explore mathematical ideas that can be used by early years and primary teachers. We will look at the links between mathematics and science. Run in conjunction with the Maths and Science Learning Centre at the University of Southampton this is a new course designed for NQT teachers, PGCE students, and those interested in ecological or environmental outreach.
