Discover the joy of all things miniature at this creative and accessible workshop in the main hall of our art gallery. How will you decorate your walls? What tiny pictures will you create? Where will you hang them and will they need a frame? And what about a sculpture hall...?
Begin your visit by exploring our new exhibition: Creating a National Collection, in family groups and then take this as inspiration for your very own gallery. Warning: this activity is highly addictive and you may find yourself making miniature galleries on a permanent basis! Recommended age: 6 - 13 years.
We are running this workshop twice on the same day at the following times: 10.30am - 12.30pm and 1pm - 3pm.
We want to make your visit as enjoyable and safe as possible. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, ANYONE ATTENDING A WORKSHOP IN THE GALLERY WILL NEED TO HAVE A TICKET, INCLUDING ADULTS. CHILDREN CANNOT ATTEND WITHOUT AN ADULT. Each booking will be seated at the same table; if you are booking for two households please make two separate purchases. PLEASE ENSURE ALL ADULTS HAVE BOOKED A FREE ACCOMPANYING ADULT TICKET.
Please also be aware that adults and children aged 11 and over will need to wear a face covering.
