Huge pop rock anthems? Massive sing along choruses? Welcome to the world of Last One Home. #LOH
Last One Home are the 3-piece, vibrant, melodic pop/indie rock band led by songwriter, singer and guitarist Tom Westlake with bassist Harry Lowndes and drummer/producer Matt Bond.
The band are taking the music to their fans by surging out of the South West, with a major tour in February taking in Plymouth, Coventry, Bristol, London, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bridgwater, Southampton and Glastonbury.
The band hit 2019 full-on with major success, making it to the top 20 shortlist of the DrakeYolanDa Award out of hundreds of applicants from across the UK. Following on from this, LOH headlined a stage at Home Farm Festival, played a stomping set at the Godney Gathering and hit the road on their first UK headline tour.
Last One Home’s single ‘You Don’t Have To Hold On’ was released in February of 2019 and quickly became popular, immediately being added to the ‘Indie Radar’ and ‘This Noise Rocks’ playlists on Spotify and also to This Feeling’s ‘Best New Bands’ playlist.
The single Give You The World was played on BBC Somerset, BBC Introducing in Devon & Cornwall and has been featured on multiple blog websites including ‘Indie Buddie’ where the song is described as having ‘enough gusto to ignite a live audience’ and being ‘a cracking pop rock number’.
Land Of Immortality recently reached the Finals of the 2019 UK Songwriting Contest in the Music Video category. It also featured in the blog Musically Fresh as an “addictive’ and “damn good pop song with a solid rock foundation” and a “youthfully exuberant chorus”.
Last One Home released their self-titled EP in 2018 from which the single 'Bring Down The Storm' won the band the Music Expo prize at the ‘Glastonbury FM Songwriting Competition'.
The band’s success so far has led them to support internationally famous bands such as Crazy Town, Courage My Love and Halflives on their UK tours. In February LOH are supporting Alex Band of The Calling, Chasing Deer and As December Falls.
