This workshop is designed for people who are thinking about an academic career pathway as a lecturer. We will cover a variety of topics including thinking about what being a lecturer entails, applications, CVs and support available, all with a cup of tea and cake!
The workshop facilitators include:
Nicola Englyst who came to Southampton as a postdoc and held a research fellowship before becoming a lecturer and associate professor.
Delphine Boche who came as a Marie Curie Fellow before to receive a MRC New Investigator leading to a chair at the University.
Gabrielle Wheway who has been a lecturer since June 2016. I spent two years as Lecturer in Biomedical Science at the University of the West of England.
