This **free** Hampshire Exhibition is the biggest of its kind in Southern England and is rated as one of the top eight in the UK, brings the very latest in aids, equipment, information and services available to assist those with, or at risk of sight loss from the leading manufacturers and suppliers. There’s always new technology and services being developed so the Exhibition gives everyone the opportunity to see what is out there and planned for the future.
Guest speakers confirmed for the day are:
**Professor Andrew Lotery,** Professor of Ophthalmology within Medicine at the University of Southampton. As a clinician scientist his research is driven by interactions with patients. He works from bench to bedside using laboratory techniques such as molecular genetics and cell biology to study common causes of blindness such as age related macular degeneration (AMD) and glaucoma. His laboratory work is complemented with clinical trials undertaken in Southampton Eye Unit.
**Jay Self BM FRCOphth PhD,** Associate Professor of Paediatric Ophthalmology at the University of Southampton. He is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at University Hospital Southampton. He has a special interest in general Paediatric Ophthalmology, Paediatric Cataract, Nystagmus and Ophthalmic Genetics. His research program is closely aligned with his clinical practice.
