Ripped jeans, cowboy boots, long hair and make-up, Collateral are a band that look and sound like a stadium rock band. Originally known as the Angelo Tristan Band, frontman Angelo and bass player Jack Bentley-Smith formed the nucleus of the band for five years. They worked tirelessly to grow the act, the fanbase and the bands profile. In true rock and roll style, the ride hasn't been easy for this four-piece, but their sheer grit and determination have seen them overcome obstacles and go from strength to strength. The past few years have been no exception, but, with the addition in 2018 of new members Todd Winger (guitar) and Ben Atkinson (drums) the band dynamics changed and they went into the studio to record. The fruits of their labour came in the form of their debut single'Midnight Queen' which was released in May 2018 and was added to the playlists for Planet Rock, HRH, Midlands Metalheads and many others. They followed this with an EP release, 4 Shots, and recent single release, Lullaby, each with the same success as the first single.
Piston are a British five-piece rock ‘n’ roll engine made up of four members from the Midlands greased with a vocal roar from the south; which, when put together and fired up produce a no-nonsense sound to be reckoned with! They have already made a firm impression on the major UK Rock Festivals with debut appearances including 'Hard Rock Hell' with Blue Oyster Cult, 'Legends of Rock' with Nazareth and 'Planet Rock Stock' in the short time of being together. The band have also been heavily featured in Classic Rock Magazine.
Their release 'Leave If You Dare' gained top #20 most played song on Planet Rock (UK's #1 rock station) and went straight to playlist on radio with Team Rock Radio, Planet Rock, Kerrang! Radio & Total Rock. 'Leave If You Dare' marked their official features in Classic Rock Magazine, featured on their online sites with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.
The band released their new single One More Day – taken from their upcoming album later this year – on Friday 22nd February. The new single has already been playlisted by Planet Rock and other influential rock stations
