Solent Showcase Gallery

Solent Showcase Gallery was the first major addition to Southamptons emerging cultural quarter and is situated on the Guildhall city square, near the City Art Gallery and the Sea City Museum.

Solent Showcase Gallery features contemporary visual art that encourages engagement, discussion and participation with the whole community. The creation of Showcase Gallery coincides with the expansion of the art courses at Southampton Solent University; generating a new era of visual creativity at the University.

Solent Showcase Gallery supports up-and-coming national and international artists to providing examples of the best contemporary art to inspire students and a wider audience. It embraces the idea of cross-disciplinary collaboration to highlight the creative talents of the University, highlighting contemporary ideas and seeking to engage the widest possible audience.
