A fresh new FREE city-centre festival is coming to the streets of Southampton on Saturday 25th September. Re:Claim is a brand new experience, taking over the city centre with music, sports, art, gaming and performance.
With activities stretching from Carlton Place down to The Esplanade, Westquay, Re:Claim brings together Southampton’s diverse creative forces and voices, alongside a few guest pieces from outside of the city, in a mainly free programme of sensational street experiences.
While there's lots for teens and young adults, the Re:Claim Street Festival is also a chance for people of all ages to step out of their comfort zones and discover something new, uncover more of what Southampton has to offer, and enjoy the thrills and vibrancy of street culture. Take part in free live street art at the Showcase Street Jam Live and watch the artists at work creating permanent installations at Westquay.
You can also enjoy the truly immersive sensory experience of the Arboria Luminarium on Saturday AND Sunday (entrance to the Luminarium is £5pp).

Enjoy exciting skateboarding action and ‘have a go’ challenges and lessons at Skate Southampton’s Slamma4, marvel at the freestyle football displays and take part in skills and tricks workshops and Panna Cage Street Football challenges and games. In addition BMX and Mountain Bike riders of all levels can put their skills to the test at the Pump Track.

With four container stages located through the city centre, a Jerk Jam Caribbean soundclash in Palmerston Park and a free showstopping finale on Saturday night starring Southampton’s premier UK Garage act FooR & Tyrone, you’re spoilt for choice with the live music options at Re:Claim.
Stages include Our Big Day Out stage (until 10.30pm), SoCo Music Project stage, Hip Hop Heritage stage and the BBC Music Introducing stage.
Catch FooR & Tyrone, Southampton’s biggest UK Garage act for free, one week after their appearance at the Isle Of Wight Festival, as they bring Re:Claim’s main schedule to a spectacular close at The Esplanade, Westquay.

From modern gaming to retro classics, racing rigs to dancing fun, there are dozens of gaming stations to be played in our free toob Gaming Marquee and on the 2 floors of gaming on the toob double-decker gamersbus as well as the chance to win prizes worth £500.

ZoieLogic Dance Theatre’s nationally acclaimed male youth dance company, FuzzyLogic, push the boundaries of male dance with a unique style by fusing high tempo, energetic contact work and exciting narrative contemporary dance. FuzzyLogic will perform a reworked version of their piece “Judged” at various times throughout the day in the Above Bar Pedestrian Precinct.
