Visit Southampton is partnering up with IKEA to spread some Christmas joy to those that need it most and they need you!

Help us bring some festive cheer to the local young people and children who need it most. Here's how you can get involved:

1) Grab your friends or family, or go solo, and visit our Christmas cuddle bench or festive mistletoe 

2) Take a selfie or picture! We want you to show us the love, so pucker up or blow the camera a kiss! 

3) Upload your photos to your Instagram feed using #1000kisses and tagging Visit Southampton (@visit_soton). We will share your photos on our Instagram stories

4) The best bit? For every photo uploaded IKEA will donate a gift to the Southampton Toy Appeal. Just make sure to post your photos on Instagram before 19^th December to be counted.

The Southampton Christmas Toy Appeal is in its 35th year! 

Organised by Southampton City Council and Westquay, the Toy Appeal calls on kind-hearted members of the community, businesses, and charities to donate toys for children of all ages from 0-18 who are supported by Southampton children’s services.

• Qualifying posts must be uploaded to Instagram feeds/grids, tagging Visit Southampton and using the hashtag #1000kisses
• IKEA Southampton will donate up to 1000 gifts suitable for children aged 0 - 18 for the Southampton Christmas Toy Appeal
  
• By uploading your photos, you are agreeing that they will be shared on the Visit Southampton/GO! Southampton channels 
• To be entered into the prize draw the photo must be under the festive mistletoe in IKEA and use the hashtag #IKEASouthampton and #1000kisses. One entry per account.
